Magnetic Base for Dia-Mag Plates

The DMT Dia-Mag Base with Feet is intended for use with the Dia-Mag Double-Sided Abrasive Plates. It is the same as the base that is included with the Dia-Mag Fine/Coarse Plate with Base, and Dia-Mag Extra-Fine/Fine and Coarse/Extra-Coarse Plates with Base. It is perfect for adding bases for individual Dia-Mag plates in your collection or for replacing a lost base.

Dia-Mag System

The DMT Dia-Mag Base is part of the Dia-Mag system, and a great way employ multiple diamond grits in an easily storable and packable size. Thin, double-sided abrasive plates are held in place on the magnetic base. Simply flip or change plates to change grits. It's a great size for knife or tool sharpening, in a compact, light weight package.

Thoughtful DMT Design

The Dia-Mag Base features DMT's expected thoughtful and practical design. The base is 8" x 2 5/8", the same size as the Dia-Mag Abrasive Plates. Five non-slip rubber feet are attached to the bottom for stability. A notch in one end of the base allows easy removal of plates for fast and convenient changes.
