We carry thousands of sharpening products across stones, guided systems, electric sharpeners, and accessories. If there’s a good solution out there, we want you to have access to it.
Plus, having all the products we sell in one building means we can answer very specific product questions that can only be answered with the product in hand.

We stock what we sell. We pack it ourselves. We ship fast. No drop shipping, no guessing where your order is coming from.
Our team knows exactly how to get your tools to you quickly. We know what’s in the box, how it behaves in transit, and how to protect it, because we’ve handled thousands of them.
If you place an order before midday Central Time, Monday to Friday, we get your order shipped out that day.

Today there are about a dozen of us, and most have been here more than five years. Several have been here more than ten. Some of our very first hires are still with us. That kind of longevity only happens when people genuinely care about the work and the customers.
Around here, if the phone rings, we answer it. If boxes need packing, we pack them. If a customer is stuck, we help. Titles matter less than taking care of people. That’s been our culture since day one.

How Sharpening Supplies Started
In 2006, John was enjoying cooking and woodworking, two hobbies that both depended on sharp edges. The problem was, good information and quality sharpening equipment was surprisingly difficult to find. Nowhere offered real selection, quality tools, and expert guidance in one place. So John built it.
Sharpening Supplies began in a small, windowless room, where videos and articles were created late at night and orders were packed by hand. As customers kept asking, “Can you help me figure out how to sharpen this?”, it became clear that Sharpening Supplies wasn’t just selling tools, it was helping people learn the skill of sharpening.
