    The Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust Upgrade Kit enhances the capabilities of the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener. Three exciting new resin-bonded diamond stones, a smooth leather strop, and .5 micron chromium oxide honing compound combine to take your edges to mirror-fine, razor-sharp perfection.

    Resin-Bonded Diamond Plates

    The diamond abrasive plates in the Upgrade Kit differ from the electroplated diamond plates that were included with the Professional Precision Adjust Sharpener in a couple of ways:

    • At 1200, 2000, and 3000 grit they are finer than the 220, 300, 400, 600, and 800 grit stones included with the sharpener. These finer grits will further refine and polish your edges.
    • They are made of resin-bonded diamonds. This method creates a thick layer of diamonds that behave more like a water stone and increases their ability to refine and polish at fine grits. These resin-bonded diamond stones are used with a bit of water. The resin binder very slowly wears, continuously exposing fresh diamonds to the surface maintaining consistent cutting ability over time.

    Smooth Leather Strop and .5 Micron Honing Compound

    The included strop is faced with smooth leather. Smooth leather is an unbeatable surface on which to apply the included .5 micron Chromium Oxide Honing Compound. Or use another compound of your choice. Whichever way you go, the combination of compound on leather will leave an unbeatable mirror-perfect finish and a truly razor-sharp edge.

    Designed for the Professional Precision Adjust Sharpener

    The 1" x 6" plates in the Professional Precision Adjust Upgrade Kit integrate seamlessly with the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener. The steel backing plates fit perfectly on the sharpening handle and stay in place magnetically. Changing grits is fast and easy.
