A Heavy Duty File

The Norton JD2 Utility File is a great choice when you need to make an edge quickly. Made of coarse Crystolon (silicon carbide) abrasive, the Utility File will cut aggressively to make fast work of your sharpening job. The Utility File is a single, coarse grit stone. It is similar to, but beefier than its cousin the Norton Tradesman's Utility Stone which is thinner and has both coarse and fine grit sides. The long wedge shape with four flat sides is designed for heavy work and the wood handle makes for easy use.

The Norton Utility Stone is perfect for sharpening many cutting implements including mower blades, axes, shovels and many industrial cutters as well.
