The aluminum oxide abrasive in the alundum Sickle and Scythe Stone are harder and leave a smoother finish than the Crystolon Sickle and Scythe Stone. This stone is used when finish is more important than speed. It is used to sharpen sickles, scythes, bill hooks or similar curved cutting tools.

The Coarse Alundum Sickle and Scythe Stone measures 10" x 1-5/16" x 3/4"
