Second Stage Filter for Magna-Matic Dust Collector
The MAG-200-15 is MERV 8 rated, 3 ply filter that measures 4" x 12". This is the 2nd stage filter. It works with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 editions of the MAG-200 series collectors. The Gen 3 edition takes a larger filter.
We recommend replacing this filter frequently. This can help the life of the 200-17 MERV 13 final filter.
MAG-200 Dust Collector's Three Stages of filtration
- Metal Mesh Filter breaks up air flow and kills sparks
- MAG-200-15 MERV 8 Pad Filter removes particles 3 to 10 micron in size and larger, which includes most dust and grit.
- MAG-200-17 MERV 13 Pleated Filter removes particles 0.3 to 1 micron in size and larger, which includes fine dust and some fumes/smoke.
