Strop With Your Lansky System
Finally, you can get the fine polish of a strop with the controlled angled sharpening of the Lansky System. At Sharpening Supplies we're not strangers to the benefits of stropping your knives. Until now, there has been no way to use your Lansky System to strop your knives. This strop is meant to be used with your existing Lansky System to put the finishing touches on your knife.

Works with any Lansky System.

These hones do not include the Lansky Replacement Guide Rods which are sold separately.

Q. Do you recommend honing compound?

A. While it isn't required, honing compound makes stropping faster. We recommend our Green Honing Compound.

Q. Do I need the Lansky System to use this strop?

A. The Stropping Hone doesn't come with the knife clamp or guide rod. To use it with the Lansky System, you need to have those components. It is possible to use the Lansky Stropping Hone without those components but we don't recommend it.
