Sharpen Hard Steels and Ceramic Knives

DMT's Hardcoat™ surface was developed to provide extra durability when used to sharpen the hardest steels and ceramic blades. Designed to withstand the rigors of sharpening ceramic knives, this 8" DuoSharp® Bench Stone, is an excellent sharpening stone. Its 8" x 2 5/8" diamond surface provides ample room for sharpening a variety of edges. 

Two Grits, One Stone

The 8" DuoSharp Hardcoat Stone is double-sided, with a different grit on each side. 

• HC™ Fine diamond (25 micron / 600 mesh) for a sharp edge shape.
• HC™ Extra-Fine diamond (9 micron /1200 mesh) to polish and refine a razor edge.
  

These grits are perfect for finishing and maintaining excellent edges on ceramic and hard steel knives.

Universal Sharpening Base Included

The 8" DuoSharp Hardcoat Stone includes a DMT Universal Sharpening Base.

This most versatile holder works with all DMT diamond stones, including the Whetstones, DuoSharp Stones, and Dia-Sharp Stones from 4" to 12" long, and will even hold many non-DMT brand stones.

With the Universal Sharpening Base, your DuoSharp stone will be held firmly in place, raised above the work surface. There's no worries about your stone moving around, or your knuckles hitting the work surface while you sharpen.

The DuoSharp Hardcoat Sharpening Stone is made in the USA. The Universal Sharpening Base is made in China.
