Brod & Taylor's Knife Sharpeners are built with a unique sharpening technology to sharpen any knife with ease. Ultra-hard, precision ground tungsten carbide sharpening surfaces are mounted on patented spring-action bars that adjust automatically to different blade angles.

Auto Adjust Bars

The Brod and Taylor sharpener utilizes automatically adjusting bars. These patented spring action bars were invented in Austria by a master knife maker and accommodate any angle from 11 degrees to 21 degrees. Whether you have a low angle, fine slicing blade, or a high angle, heavy chopping one, the Brod and Taylor VG2 will handle it without any adjustment required.

Ultra-Hard Carbide

The sharpening surfaces are made of precision-ground ultra-hard tungsten carbide. With an HRC of 63, these carbide bars give razor fine edge quickly and easily. Sharpening bars can last 10 years with normal use. Brod and Taylor Replacement VG2 Knife Sharpener Blades are available.
