Versatile, Two Git Stones

The DMT DuoSharp Stones feature the Interrupted Surface, or "Polka-Dot" pattern. In this format, the diamonds are mounted to a metal plate that has relief holes cut in it. These holes provide small recesses where the waste material produced by sharpening, can collect, keeping the stone working efficiently. 

The Duo in DuoSharp refers to the fact that these stones are two-sided. Each side of the stone has a different grit.

This clean cutting, double-grit design means the the DuoSharp stones offer true versatility.

Four Grit Combinations

The 8" DuoSharp is available in four grit combinations. Choose From:

• Extra-Fine 1200 grit/Fine 600 grit
• Extra-Fine 1200 grit/Coarse 325 grit
• Fine 600 grit/Coarse 325 grit
• Coarse 325 grit/Extra-Coarse 220 grit

This wide range of grits has your needs covered from reshaping dull or damaged blades to refining to smooth cutting sharpness, and everything in between.

Versatile Size

These DuoSharp Stones are 8" long and 2 5/8" wide. This is a very versatile size that serves well for almost any size knife or tool.

Optional Universal Sharpening Base

The 8" DuoSharp stones are available packaged with a DMT Universal Sharpening Base. This most versatile holder works with all DMT diamond stones, including the Whetstones, DuoSharp Stones, and Dia-Sharp Stones from 4" to 12" long, and will even hold many non-DMT brand stones.

With the Universal Sharpening Base, your DuoSharp stone will be held firmly in place, raised above the work surface. There's no worries about your stone moving around, or your knuckles hitting the work surface while you sharpen.
