This  DMT® Fine Diamond Steel is about 15" in total length. The steel itself is 10" and the handle with guard is almost 5". With light strokes, the Diamond Steel can align your knife edge. Unlike traditional steels, the DMT 10" Fine Steel also contains very fine abrasives that will hone your knife in addition re-aligning the blade. Virtually indestructible, it is also wear-resistant, light, and non-porous. Made in the USA.
