Hand Cleaning and Smoothing Surfaces
The Flat Silicon Floor Rubs are small, handheld blocks of silicon carbide abrasive. They are commonly used by masons and machinists for cleaning and smoothing castings, concrete, tile and other surfaces. They are available in a variety of grits.
The parting seam facilitates breaking the brick in half to create two smaller bricks.

Silicon carbide is ideal for fast material removal. Its abrasive nature makes it perfect for quickly performing operations like coarse sharpening, shaping, leveling, or removing burrs after machining. Silicon carbide is often employed when speed is important.
