What is the best type of sharpening stones?
There isn't a single best stone. Each of the stone type has advantages. We recommend that you find the benefits that mean most to you. What size sharpening stone should I purchase?
A larger stone is generally better. So a 8” or larger stone is generally recommended. A larger stone is easier to use and will help you sharpen more quickly. The reason for smaller stones is usually cost or portability.
