Replaceable Diamond Sheet on Backing Plate

Nano-Hone Surf Stones feature diamonds laid out in a wave pattern on replaceable sheets mounted on a Nano-Hone backing plate. Whether flattening water stones or the backs of chisels and plane blades, the Nano-Hone Surf Stone does the job.

Fast and Efficient

The Surf Stone is designed to be fast and efficient. The wave-shaped bands of diamonds provide optimal cutting speed with space between to allow waste material to clear.

The Nano Hone Surf Stones are 9 1/2" x 2 3/8" (240mm x 60mm)

Choose Your Grit

The Surf Stone is available in:

  • 60 Grit / 250 Micron
  • 140 Grit / 110 Micron
  • 325 Grit / 20 Micron

Choose the grit to fit your need, or get multiple grits for a flattening progression.

Works with Nano-Hone Stone Stage

The Backing Plates of the Surf Stones are designed to work with the Nano-Hone Stone Stage. The holes on the bottom side of the backing plates fit neatly over the posts that protrude from the top of the Stone Stage for a stable, no slip flattening experience.
