Level 3 - Medium Coarse
The level 3 or medium coarse grits are very common grits. Many of the grits that we have put into this category are labeled coarse by manufacturers of stones. This is a highly versatile grit as it sharpens quickly yet does not leave an edge so rough that your next grit will have trouble removing the scratch marks left by the grit.
