A Professional Belt Grinder Lawn Mower Blade Sharpening System
This kit (AKA Magna-Matic System 7) has everything you need to professionally sharpen lawn mower blades with an abrasive belt sharpener. A 1hp grinder, blade balancer, and stand with all the attachments needed to mount everything.
Choose Flat or Modular Worktable
There are two variants of the System 7 to choose from:
- The MAG-8200B with Flat Work Table - The Flat Work Table allows the sharpening of standard flat lawn mower blades at a fixed 30° angle.
- The MAG-8200BM with Modular Work Table - The Modular Work Table sharpens standard flat mower blades as well as curved mulching blades. It also allows for adjusting the edge angle to 30°, 35°, 40°, or 45°.

MAG-8200B or MAG-8200BM Abrasive Belt Grinder for Lawn Mower Blades
The Magna-Matic Belt Sharpeners use a 2" x 24" abrasive belt to sharpen lawn mower blades. The 2" wide belt makes it easier to stay on the tip of the blade which makes it easier to grind a nice square tip on the lawn mower blade.
The MAG-8200s grind in an upward direction on the cutting edge. This direction is safer because by not pulling the blade into the machine, it eliminates a dangerous pinch point. The upward grinding action also pushes the heat away from the thinnest part of the blade.
All Magna-Matic sharpeners have complete a enclosure for the abrasive, directing all sparks into a large grit guard.
MAG-10400 Service Center Stand
The MAG-10400 Service Center Stand is designed to hold your Magna-Matic Grinder, Dust Collector and Blade Balancer in one convenient spot.
Magna-Matic Blade Balancer
The MAG-1000 Blade Balancer mounts on the stand allowing the blade to hang in a horizontal balance position. Strong magnets hold the blade in place. Cone size fits blade hole widths 5/16" to 1-1/2" diameter. Made of the finest precision steel for a long life.
