Specialty Platen for Knives
The Kalamazoo Knife Makers Platen is an upgrade for the Kalamazoo 1SM Belt Sharpener and Kalamazoo 1SMS Belt Sharpener with Safety Guard. It has a wide bottom and a 1″ wide upper plate to accommodate tight areas of the knife. Designed to be used for sharpening or shaping of knives.
Note: the 1SMVP Kalamazoo Multiple Position Belt Sharpener takes a different Knife Makers Platen. If you have that machine, you will need 563-048 Kalamazoo Knife Makers Platen for 1SVM.
