These GATCO Sharpening Hones are a direct replacement for your GATCO Knife Sharpening Systems. Whether you need to add to your set or replace an old stone, these stones are perfectly matched for any of the GATCO Systems using the Knife Clamp Guide System. Please select your Grit.

Extra-Coarse: Black Color, 80 Grit, Sharpens damaged edges and extremely dull blades.
Coarse: Yellow Color, 120 Grit, Fast cutting, resharpens dull blades
Medium: Green Color, 220 Grit, Refines edges after coarse grits
Fine: Red Color, 400 Grit, Produces keen cutting edge
Ultimate Finishing: Sky Blue Color, 1200 Grit, Made of 96% alumina ceramic, Provides surgical finish to final cutting edge

Q. Can I mix and match these hones with other GATCO Kits?

A. Yes, it doesn't matter which GATCO Kit you own. These stones fit all of the GATCO kits. For example, if you want an even finer edge for your Diamond system, you can add an Ultimate Finishing Hone to your kit.
