Apex 4 with A-Plus Upgrade

The Edge Pro Apex Sharpening System is now enhanced with the A-Plus Upgrade. This all-in-one kit is built for serious sharpeners seeking unparalleled stability, precision, and ergonomic comfort.

The A-Plus Upgrade replaces the traditional Apex frame with a more rigid design that eliminates the need for suction cups or legs, offering multiple mounting options to suit your sharpening setup. Clamp it to a countertop, pair it with a weighted base, or secure it permanently with pre-drilled holes. Whichever method you choose, you’ll immediately feel the difference in sturdiness and control.

This kit also raises the work height and positions the sharpening platform closer to the edge of your workstation, allowing you to maintain better posture while sharpening—a win for comfort and efficiency.

Polishing Tapes and Blanks Included

The Apex Plus 4 package expands on the stones included in the Apex Plus 3 by adding 2000 and 3000 Grit Polishing Tapes and 2 mounting blanks.

Keeps the angle constant

The biggest problem most sharpeners have when sharpening free hand on stones is keeping a constant angle. The Edge Pro Sharpening Systems eliminate that worry. The smooth action of the guide ensures a consistent and accurate angle.

No clamping

Unlike other knife sharpening systems, the patented Knife Guide System on the Edge Pro Apex does not clamp the blade in place. This means you can sharpen any length or shape of blade up to 3 ½” wide, and set up is quick and easy.

Wide range of angles

The guide is infinitely adjustable from 10° to 24°.

Clean and efficient water stones

The Edge Pro water stones give an excellent edge and free you from messy, gummed up oil stones. They’re long lasting as well.

Optional Base Available

The Apex Plus can be screwed to a work surface or clamped with the included c-clamp, but for those desiring a base, the Edge Pro BevelTech Weighted Base will also accommodate the Apex Plus.
