View full detailsOn a continuous diamond surface like those on the DMT Dia-Sharp Stones, diamonds cover the entire face of the stone, providing maximum contact between the stone and blade. Diamond stones can be used dry or with a small amount of water, which will flush away metal swarf and keep the surface clean during sharpening.
After each use, rinse the stone with water and if necessary scrub lightly with a stiff brush or old toothbrush to remove metal particles and debris. Allow the stone to air-dry before storing. Avoid dropping the stone, as the diamond surface can be damaged by impact. With proper care, a quality diamond stone will provide consistent performance for many years.

Diamond sharpening stones offer exceptional speed, durability, and precision, making them a top choice for sharpening knives, woodworking tools, chisels, and more. Unlike traditional stones, diamond plates stay flat over time, require little maintenance, and cut through even the hardest steels with ease.
The ultra-hard diamond abrasives remove material quickly, reducing sharpening time. Diamond stones are a great, low maintenance sharpening option. No soaking required, simply use dry or with a little water for easy sharpening. Diamond stones work on all blade types, ideal for sharpening high-hardness steels, including powder metallurgy steels and carbides.
