Portable, Powerful Sharpening
The Nano Hone Truer is a perfect tool for maintaining a razor sharp edge on pocket knives, hunting knives and cooking knives. The Truer has two 7 1/4" x 1 3/8" abrasive surfaces, one on either side, and each side has a different grit. Packing two grits onto its 10 3/4" overall length, the Truer is easy to store or pack offering you portable, powerful sharpening where and when you need it.
Two Diamond in Resin Grits
The Nano Hone Truer is double sided, with a different diamond in resin grit on either side. Each Nano Hone Truer combines:
- 50 Micron / 360 Grit - for shaping and restoring dull edges.
- 3 Micron / 5,000 Grit - for finishing to a truly sharp edge.
The Nano Hone Truer is the same construction as the Nano Hone Solid Surface Diamond Resin Plates. These stones are made of diamonds held in a layer of resin binder. Unlike most other diamond stones which are a single coating of diamonds plated onto a base, the Nano Hone Diamond Resin on the Truer provides a feel more like a water stone. As the resin slowly wears, fresh diamonds are exposed making for a fast cutting, long lasting stone. Cut very hard blades like powdered steels with ease.
Use Wet or Dry
The Nano Hone Truer can be used with or without a cutting fluid. Try it with a few drops of water, or if you prefer use it dry. Either way, the Truer is sure to be a valuable addition to your sharpening tool kit.
