The IOXIO White Rod is rated at 1000 grit on the FEPA Scale (Fédération Européenne des Fabricants de Produits Abrasifs) and 3000 grit on the JIS Scale (Japanese Industrial Standard). This is a great finishing and maintenance grit that will leave a fine edge on your knife.
