These Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) rods bring the advantage of a fast-cutting abrasive to the convenience and ease of the Spyderco Triangle Sharpmaker. CBN is an abrasive second only to diamonds in hardness. It has superior abrasion resistance and thermal conductivity to ordinary abrasives like aluminum oxide or silicon carbide. Meant to be used dry, without water or oil or other lubricants, these rods are 7” long and are designed as replacements for the Spiderco Triangle Sharpmaker.
These are sold as a pair. For cleaning, rinse in water.
