This extra-large DMT® Diamond Steel is nearly 17" in total length. The steel itself is 12" and the handle with guard is almost 5". With light strokes, the Diamond Steel can align your knife edge. Unlike traditional steels, the DMT Diamond Steel also contains diamond abrasives that will hone your knife in addition to re-aligning the blade. Available in fine and extra fine grits. Removable colored caps make grit identification easy (red is fine, green is extra fine). Made in the USA.
