These Wicked Edge stones are made of ceramic in a proprietary process and are double-sided, with two grits on each stone. All Wicked Edge stones are sold in pairs so that you can sharpen both sides of your knife simultaneously.
Super Fine 1200/1600 Grit Ceramic Stones
The 1200/1600 grit ceramic stones create a mirror fine finish for those sharpeners who want to achieve the best edge possible. They are an excellent step between the fine diamond stones like the 800/1000 Grit Diamond Stones and the incredible polishing of the Micro Fine Ceramic Stones or the Leather Strops. You receive two double-sided stones, with 1200 grit on one side and 1600 grit on the other side.
Use Dry
Wicked Edge Ceramic stones should always be used dry. If water is applied to them it can seep through the stone and build up pressure between the stone and handle, leading to failure of the bonding agent. To clean the stones periodically, use an eraser.
