Our most versatile stone holder.
If you are going to buy just one stone holder, this is the one. We have tested it and found it holds stones between 5 1/2" and 8 1/2" long. Although intended primarily for water stones, it works equally well on diamond and oil stones; the stones do not know the difference. The rubber feet keep the stone from sliding around and have the added benefit of raising the stone 7/8" above the work surface, just enough to easily make room for your hands while sharpening. The sturdy chrome plated steel rails are corrosion resistant.
