A smaller strop for woodworkers.
This strop is produced by the folks at Wood Is Good Co.® They designed this strop for the woodworker in mind, but it works equally well on just about any bladed tool or knife. The synthetic material is relatively hard so it can support the blade and produce a perfect edge. This strop was designed to work with the aluminum oxide powder. Once you sprinkle the powder on the strop you’re ready to take your sharpening to the next level. The workable area on this strop measures 6 3/4" x 1 1/4", a great size for carving tools and other small blades.
Profiled Edges
The edges of the strop are profiled to allow stropping of carving tools. One side features a rounded edge for gouges and the end has a 45 degree edge for honing v-tools tools.
