The Wide Blade Attachment for the Work Sharp WS3000 will allow you to sharpen even the widest of plane irons, up to 3" in length. Just because it can sharpen wide blades, don't think that it won't sharpen narrower blades too. The side clamping mechanism on the system will sharpen just about any chisel or plane iron. One feature we found very handy was the quick adjustment cam, this feature allows you to switch between very wide and very narrow blades without having to keep turning the nob to adjust the width.
