If you are going to buy just one stone holder, this one fits most sharpening stones. We have tested it to hold stones between 5 1/2" and 8 1/2" long. Although sold primarily for water stones, it works equally well on diamond and oil stones; the stones do not know the difference. The rubber feet keep the stone from sliding around and have the added benefit of raising the stone 7/8", just enough to easily make room for your hands while sharpening. The chrome plated steel rails prevent corrosion. Made in Taiwan.
