Dan's Honing Oil is recommended for natural and synthetic oil stones. To use the oil, just apply to the surface of the stone. On synthetic stones more oil may be required, while natural stones like Arkansas stones require less oil because they are not as porous. Made in the USA.

A. Yes, this works great on any oil stone.

A. No, we don't recommend it for water stones. For those, just use plain old water.
