The DMT Diamond Wave is a an exciting new product from DMT. The Wave is designed to sharpen tools with curved edges like carving gouges. Unlike traditional stones, there is no flat surface on this sharpening device. The Wave has a outer and an inner curved abrasive area. These curved ares make it possible to follow the contours of inside or outside curves. For carvers, sharpening in-cannel gouges has always been more of a challenge than the more traditional out-cannel gouges. These are both equally easy to sharpen using the DMT Diamond Wave.
