At 10" long and 4" wide, this DMT® diamond bench stone is the largest diamond bench stone we carry. The extra large diamond surface features DMT’s famous interrupted diamond surface. The surface sharpens very quickly because the metal filings are quickly removed from the sharpening surface. The extra large flat surface works well when you are sharpening large tools or if you just prefer the ease of using a larger sharpening surface. A non-skid mat is included with every diamond stone.

The extra coarse/coarse stone is my absolute favorite stone when it comes to sharpening a heavily nicked edge or flattening the back of a chisel or plane iron.
